But sure, I still say liquidate AS and use someone else if you're not happy (there's a lot of reasons for this, some of which aren't actually related to AS MP changes, like BA no longer giving their guaranteed availability outside of Avios to partners). I'm down to just over 1k AS miles in my account and I won't be going out of my way to add to that (it will happen because of some travel but I'm very much a free agent).
