Just to echo the above, the customer service from BAH is excellent. We had a flight cancelled for a five day Sardinia holiday and when I called them up to see what the options were, it seemed we could do pretty much what we wanted, when. We don’t like very early flights so they were happy to go through a whole list of dates to get the right match (it was CE and an R fare).
I was quite impressed. Just my experience so others may have different views.
Yes I was due to fly Cancun-Miami-London and first the London flight was cancelled and then the Miami. I was rerouted via Philadelphia and put on standby for London with lots of people expecting to misconnect due to the hurricane if I didn’t make it plan B was 1 night in Philadelphia airport and then Philadelphia - JFK- London the following day. In flight AA flight attendant came to me and said I’d been confirmed on London flight and someone would meet me with boarding pass. Shortly after arrival BA Holidays called me to check I’d been given new boarding pass.
