A few days ago, I got an SMS about some flight from Miami. I've never been to Miami and have no booked flights to and from there.

Then I just got a text to check in for my flight.

Well I have a flight tomorrow but it's not T-24 yet and MIA is not on my flight itinerary at all.

The previous text I deleted, thinking it's a phishing scam.

This latest text is coming from the same source as the texts for my previous flights. But those previous texts, which are from earlier this year, also have a link to download the United app and some bag tag number.

This one is simply giving a URL and a confirmation code that is not in any of my upcoming flights.

Probably some malfunction in the UA system.

Anyone get nonsensical texts from UA?
