Indeed, I spoke on the phone with a US rep two days ago and was told the same that the hotel was responsible for this.
In any case, I'm going to PM lurker and try that.
Please report back the outcome...I agree with others that the title is both click-bait and misleading. Do you have any proof the hotel deliberately 'stole' your NUA's or is it possibly an administrative/system issue within the hotel or between the hotel and Marriott? Accusing someone of 'stealing' from you is a pretty harsh accusation without concrete evidence to back it up. The fact that the NUA's came out of your account have YET to be returned is not proof in my eyes of malicious intent or meets my threshold for what is 'stealing'.
