When one books an award ticket, it books into the same fare classes that revenue tickets utilize (e.g. Y, K, N, G). If a pax utilizes the upgrade feature, a ticket is pushed into a FC fare class; however, this does not change the basis of a ticket (e.g. a revenue ticket remains a revenue ticket, an award ticket remains an award ticket) because the component of the upgrade is simply revenue; it is not the basis of the ticket.

Award tickets don't earn miles; this has not changed.
