Stealth points devaluation - Has Anyday rewards calendar rules changed?

Hi All - I've been Presidents Circle at Hertz for the past 10-15 years and overall decently happy with Hertz despite their problems and points devaluations over the years.

I just tried booking a 1-day rental and discovered that instead of the usual 950 points it was going to be 1,900 points. This is at a neighborhood location in Massachusetts but I also tried other neighborhood and airport locations in MA with the same results. I dug in further and discovered that apparently most of the year is considered "Anyday" peak periods (in my area it is 259 out of 365 days, so about 73% of the year). I checked though and I previously in February 2024 booked a 1-day award during an Anyday peak period and only paid 950 points so I'm wondering if anyone has insights into if Hertz has rolled out/expanded enforcement of this Anyday peak schedule? Literally doubling the number of points required for a 1-day rental is a pretty dang big stealth devaluation. Especially on top of previous devaluations.

This is the Anyday peak schedule for my area that I found here (https://www.hertz.com/rentacar/misc/...t_calendar.jsp)

Thanks in advance for any info!
