If I did indeed purchase the Business Select fares to allow us to have our best possible chance to get exit row seats that have more legroom based on what I've learned on this forum, we would have group A boarding position 1-15 both from DEN to Oakland and Oakland to LIH, correct? Hypothetical flight I've looked at since flights only going into March right now (we hope to travel in July of next year) leaves DEN at 6:10 AM and connects at OAK leaving for LIH at 1:15 pm. We may just plan to fly Southwest since the points/cash requirement for more comfy seats on UA is significantly more than Southwest... husband not sure if the difference is worth it to him.

It also sounds like I need to consider the price of flights in July may be significantly higher due to some blackout dates shared in a thread.
