I don't have a lot of confidence that (a) Hertz can do this with their systems and (b) they are going to be fair... but maybe others can weigh in and make me less cynical :-)
The number of points indicated in my e-mail that are over 5 years old is greater than my current point balance. So yeah either they don't apply a FIFO method to point deduction, or their e-mail is incorrect. I'm going to assume the former.
