So I have a work conference occuring in Rio during the school holidays in October, this brought about the opportunity for my son to come and complete some work experience for his CV (which we are hoping will look very good). We currently have everyone’s permissions to do this. Furthermore I achieved GGL status last year and in preparation for this trip I made my son the gold card holder.
However I believe that in Heathrow he may not be allowed in the lounge which I have only discovered today! This is bad as he does have a long connection and I don’t want him to go and spend all his money in the airport.
I am also lead to believe that previous youth flyers were able to get access to the CCR to monitor their alcohol consumption.
is there any possibility as GGL with access to the Concorde room that I could get my son into the Concorde room by maybe speaking to the agent at the desk
Note: he is also flying in club which might also help his cause
I am not clear about what you are saying here. If you want to speak to the agent, does that mean that you will be with him? If so then he just comes in as your guest (since you are a GGL). But you are also stating in your title that he is travelling alone.
