On my most frequent domestic route, I'm finding fully refundable (economy) fares are maybe $20 more at most. If I wasn't commuting the route every other week with the ability to just roll the flight credit into the next commuter flight, I'd happily pay an extra $20 on a $260 roundtrip ticket. For a once or twice a year trip, the incremental difference is well worth the peace of mind for virtually unlimited flexibility.
