It was a B777 connecting to an A380. Both flights were fine albeit with a bit strange service flow for drinks and meals.

So EU261 is one thing. Then try to get original routing credit for M&M and see what my travel insurance can do for my hotel in Brussels and 1 missed and paid night in HKG.
