No, it gives you a better chance of getting whatever seat you want; Bulkhead, Exit, LUV seats, Window, Front of Plane, Middle of Plane, Back of Plane, and also Aisle. And it also gives a group of travelers a better chance to sit together.

There's no such thing as "seats in A1-15"...it's the first boarding positions of the plane. The plane may already have "THRU" passengers when boarding starts, and they may already have taken all the better legroom seats (Bulkhead, Exit)
