Were you on CX906 + CX751 combo 11 July? I was on those flights, too, with CX906 delayed 45 minutes. But I was met by ground crew and we dashed through security and ran to the gate just before CX751 closed. They said luggage would make it. I didn't believe them. And indeed it did not. BUT there was someone at the luggage carousel who had a sign with my name on it. They made me fill out forms and said my bags were on the next flight CX701. They were delivered to my hotel later that same night. Did you not see Cathay reps at the airport? Fill out forms, etc.? I wonder what happened?
PS: My Thai friend said when this happened to her, she opted to wait at the aiport for the next flight to arrive. And the bags were indeed loaded on that later flight and on the carousel.
