I had purchased the card the day prior to 'activating' them online which was done prior to purchasing then at OD.
Ok great you so you just "registered" the cards on the giftcardmall website which only adds a name and address for online purchases. That has no bearing on your issue of using it at a store. Perhaps you did something unusual.
