Is that opinion or based on insider knowledge of Onex? There are quite a few WS employees I know who think AVH is on the right track for what the company needs, but I don’t think that sentiment extends to unionized groups. As part of his 16 year tenure in senior Lufthansa roles he had friction with union groups, but didn’t seem to be someone who was just working on short term strategy. Onex also has invested in many companies for the long term (12 years now for BBAM, from the perspective of airline related businesses), selling WS or taking it public again in the shorterm would only be a money losing proposition, it needs a lot more re-development to bring a profit on their investment.
