Hi all! Can you help me to understand the rules with the Legacy GOH. I have used all my GOH for 2024 ( and have a milestone GOH for next year) and wanted to use a legacy GOH for a friend who has a cash rate (convention rate) for this week.

I called and have spent 1.5 hrs on the phone (called earlier and disconnected, and spent 40 min on hold on this call). I was told since I have a milestone award in my account (2026 expiration date) and that the reservation I want to apply the legacy award to is a cash rate it won’t work. The existing reservation has to be a points rate to apply the legacy award. Is this correct? Super frustrating. Thanks!
