My only issue is the service on the 178 plus for us Brits it’s a waste of an expensive hotel night h@ving to get up around 4.30/5am NYC time .

You get breakfast after departure and a light snack 90 mins prior to arrival. It would be better the other way around and indeed Virgin do this, light snack and full meal prior to landing at Heathrow.
