FAT-GDL elicited a quick competitive response.

Volaris often operates 3X daily during busy periods/busy days.

But in response to AS the third FAT-GDL for Holidays 2024 was just rescheduled to depart Fresno at the same 7am time as AS. Volaris has never scheduled a FAT departure earlier than 9pm, only operating redeyes.

Then Aeromexico has added an additional FAT-GDL for the Holiday period, giving them 2X departing Fresno in the evenings.

That means there will be 6 daily FAT-GDL flights over the Holidays including two 7am departures out of FAT. We will see how the market chooses between the offerings and if it can absorb the capacity.
