I'm going to be traveling on Aerolineas Argentinas on a couple domestic and one international (to SCL) flights. Can anyone comment on how strict they are with the weight of the hand luggage? We will be carrying international-sized carry-ons but likely be over the weight limit listed (8kg). They'll probably have you put the bag on a scale, and if it exceeds their weight limit, they'll ask you to check it.
EDIT: that weight limit seems incredibly low to me. So much so that I can't believe it's actually correct. On my last domestic AR flight last week, I boarded with my rollaboard suitcase, which probably weighed closer to 25 pounds or so. They had me put it on the scale, then put a little blue sticker around the handle and let me go to the gate.
