Apparently, all those cruise passengers get off the ship and have nowhere to go until their flight time. And they hang out at the airport all day significantly increasing the number of people in the airport.
So what you're saying is that the airline/airport is being very customer friendly by making sure that passengers who have flights within the next 2 hours, don't miss their flight because they had to wait in an extremely long line behind people whose flights were 3, 4, 5, or more hours away.

I love how people assume their own opinion to be the opinion of the entire class. If some aspect doesn't work for someone, fine, that's their opinion. But it doesn't mean it's not working for most customers. We see the same thing with the whole open and saving seat conversations here. "Because I don't like it, I know no one likes it"
