I booked this all on one ticket stock.... The 6 digit code is the same and the ticket number is the same, does it matter?

I am flying from TPE-KUL - 12 hours there, I am leaving the airport.
Then From KUL to DOH 2 days in DOH
Then from DOH - LAX direct.
I have another flight from LAX to another city, and I am praying that I get a nice counter agent in Doha that will be willing to check through my luggage from LA to that other city. Because I really do not want to recheck it at LAX, I am meeting a friend there and have little time, it will be much easier to give it to the guys just outside of customs to deal with it for me... But... I am not holding my breath.
Did you book it as a multi-city award on the AA website? If so, you literally just booked two one-way awards that happened to he put together. Like a round trip award that just happens to go in the same direction. There is no mistake. No "allowed". You did something perfectly legal and allowed, no mistake. You didn't book a stopover. You booked a multi-city award - two connected one-way flights on the same PNR that you paid for separately, NOT a one-way flight with a stopover.
