If so, there's nothing you or AA can do about that. A change will always reprice the entire itinerary, unless the change is involuntary. What is AA supposed to do? Give you a free change for some reason?
Unless I'm misunderstanding your post, which is entirely possible. can you post just the essentials of your complaint? I'm not sure what stopovers or notnhave to do with your complaint at first glance. While AA awards do indeed not allow stopovers - if it did let you book one, what's there to complain? And why does the thread title refer to upgrades, when there are no upgrades involved?
Yeah you misunderstood, lol, my complaint is that I want the stopover, I am totally fine with my itinerary as it is and that 2 day stopover was allowed to be booked, but the stopover is not allowed under AA rules. Why did AA allow it in the first place, and why didn't the agents on the phone catch it?
They allowed it, so what happens now??? My luggage will go where? Airports don't want it for 3 days, so can I pick it up in DOH and then recheck it or not? What will happen in DOH when I come back to the airport? OR what will happen in Taipei when they see I have 3 days in Doha and want to check my luggage? What are the rules and possibilities that may happen?
It is a miles ticket, perhaps I worded it wrong, I wil try to fix that. --- Tried, cannot fix the title.
