All this really is emblematic of the broader technology+process+people problem at BA. Mrs. jcg20 applied for the promotion, got the acknowledgement, but never got the status bump. She emailed several times, called a few, and never got a straight answer. She even got "demoted" to Blue from Bronze while all this was going on. Both of us are UA 1Ks with the same address etc, the only difference is she had that little bit of BA status where I was forever Blue. Doesn't bode well for me moving business away from UA.
