The 00 number is the standardized way OneWorld transfers the frequent flier to other airlines. Usually Finnair website works well to fix these mistakes.
Example of the output of the details from AMADEUS:

> IB Flight with IB Frequent Flyer number
FREQUENT TRAVELLER: IB-IB00000012345678 FOR XXX
> BA Flight with IB Frequent Flyer number
FREQUENT TRAVELLER: BA-IB00000012345678 FOR XXX

With AA, since mostly they are operating under Sabre, you wont get it listed there, so most of the time it either gets passed properly or you have to add it yourself / ask for it.

IB uses 8 numbers loyalty program, BA uses 8 numbers, but for example Finnair uses 9... That's why the system is a bit screwed. So far with Finnair I have gotten IB status recognized on IB,BA,AA,CX,JL and AS.
