Why is Qatar services amazing compared to other major airlines, especially U.S. airlines? Is it a cultural thing where other parts of the world expect higher quality or something else?

I flew Qatar business recently from CPT to BKK via DOH and was blown away by how amazing their staff and soft product was. The staff onbaord introduced themselves, smiled and were so professional. It is hard to get even a basic smile when flying U.S. airlines like AA, UA or DL. U.S. airlines feel militant and extremely subpar after flying Qatar.I had to laugh when United served a PDB in a plastic cup (in Polaris) after being on Qatar. Their food and drink selections were amazing too. The lounge in Qatar was so great. The prices Qatar charged were on level of U.S. airlines. It is amazing how different Qatar is and they do a fantastic job and are so detailed oriented. I would not pick a U.S. based airline again when Qatar is a choice!
