Have family member on this plane. Left Ohare late due to an electrical issue. Pilot assured the plane was safe after testing. Emergency landing due to noxious odors on plane. All passengers sitting on plane. Any idea what will happen now. We called BA. They have no info
A couple crew were taken off with masks on. Guessing they are not letting off the passengers due to customs issues and where to put them…barracks? Ambulances, fire, etc around plane. Smell was described as burning rubber.
I was on the outbound, There was a few electrical issues in the F cabin, with lights flickering and power going on and off for a bit . The IFM kept having to reset stuff, but nothing untoward really to suggest something would go astray on the return
