You'd imagine that the airports and authorities on the eastern tip of Canada are well-versed in these sorts of events. Must happen that they get complicated diversions like this fairly frequently (relatively speaking).

Likewise, you'd imagine (or at least hope in vain!) that given the sheer number of BA flights that pass that way, someone at BA has at least put together a list of local contacts...
