Thursday 11 July update

BA293 IAD
BA856 PRG

Late on the day cancels, particularly the Washington flight. Also this divert:

BA289 ORD-LHR, diverted YYR = ODRY (almost certainly)

Friday 12 July 2024

A lot of cancellations have happened in the last hour or two, the ones above the line. There seems a shortage of crew and aircraft today, note the ATC report.

BA804 DLM
BA336 MRS
BA454 AGP
BA834 DUB
BA814 CPH
BA938 DUS
BA410 IBZ
BA844 DBV
BA394 BRU
BA344 NCE
==
BA67 PHL
BA27 HKG = OPEN (I think, it was taken off the schedule a while back)

338 BA flights out of 677. ATC report:

Landing RWY: 09L
Airborne holding (mins): 12
Departure RWY: 09R
TSAT delay average (mins): 0

Network: A very busy morning with CTOT's across Europe, mainly weather over the Balkans. Heathrow regulated as pre-tactically applied.

Weather: A cloudy day. Generally staying dry but there is a low risk of an isolated light or moderate shower, most likely during the afternoon. Low risk of isolated CB in the southwest of the LTMA 12-20Z.Gentle NE'ly winds should become N'ly this afternoon, with the option to switch to W'ly preference but times to be confirmed.
