The drink link was really helpful. I did not know that drink tickets are no longer given. We have been out of the status level game for 20 plus years, since early retirement. None of our drink tickets have expiration dates, but if it is over, it's over. Sounds like we might take a couple of the 1k cert and see what happens. If not, surely, they take their branded credit card. We have been flying business with points, then business with flights on Regent Seven Seas. Viking wanted $2500 each to have included business class instead of coach.

Now to club and APPs. Sorry this story puts us in the stone age. We have a few dining APPs, no other on our phones. Our "smart phones", are a several years old and won't work for Holland America APP. So we need to get specific for using the passes. Is this a chase app or a united app. Anything that can help us get to what we need to do would be helpful.

fumje, do I understand that we can use the lounge without a pass because it is international...even though we are in Coach? IF my wife is Star Alliance Gold. No wonder the club is full. Is there a specific club we need to use at ORD? Does that mean in SAN and ORD on our outbound leg? I'll have to figure out if she is Star Alliance Gold. She was Ik for several years, has the Chase Explorer Card and status miles of something a bit over 800,000 miles. We have not logged miles this year and only about 20,000 each in 2023.
