Goal would be to move enough in to qualify (looks to be 750k+) and have my private banker apply for the card. I’ve gone in branch and called Chase Private Client. I can’t seem to get a straight answer as to whether they will upgrade accounts with no history with First Republic.
I spoke with my Chase Private Client investment advisor and asked him to do some research for me. He said he didn't know how someone can get into the JP Morgan Private Client side right now, but the internal talk among his colleagues is that Chase needs to finish converting First Republic branches into JP Morgan branches first.
