Does anybody know if points purchased from Aeroplan can be used with PYB?

I know it is not the best value but I want to earn SQD, so I'm considering using the current promo (ending today) to buy 135,000 points for CA$2100 = US$1550.

Those 135k points would have a value of US$1687 via PYB.
So I effectively get a discount of 8% on all AC fares (inlcuding taxes) while still earning points, SQM, SQD, etc.
But this only makes sense if the purchased points can be used for PYB...
