As for dinners: yes, a cheaper rate exists on the property website, but that rate is not offered on Hilton.com as of yet - what that means in practice for redemption bookings, I don’t know. I suppose we’ll find out soon enough.
Not complaining if the transfer/dinner is not included, I’m just pointing out that this is at best very confusing for the customer, and that the wording is very open to each’s interpretation.
Nobody ever expected or argued (as far as I recall) that the transfer fee should be included at the WA or the Conrad Maldives (2 of the most popular booked resorts at Hilton) and it's also added to bookings as the same fee so I'm not sure why it's confusing here. It's quite well known and established that transfer fees in the Maldives are paid separately for points bookings.
Honestly, no point in going back and forth on this as we will find out in due time from the property if it's included or not, but my expectation is that it will be charged just like with all other resorts in the Maldives.
