Is the trip all on one PNR? So is your outbound AMS-LHR-JER? If so that part of your trip would probably be rebooked in the event of delays.

However (I am not exactly sure) but I think if you missed the return from JER, it would be treated as a no-show. No doubt someone else will be along shortly to confirm or correct.
