You need an established customer base for routes operating in competitive markets on a daily, year ‘round basis.
You need to have fares and schedules for optimal GDS positioning to succeed on sub-daily or weekly sun routes during prime holiday seasons. This is spill flying and has been highly profitable for Sun Country since you only operate when there is known demand.
