Assume your email is linked to your booking as each time I get changes like this I get an email to advise me and allow me to consider options. BA is far less frequent changing than AA used to be. When I went away with family I used to book early on a cheap flight with not ideal timings knowing flight would change and I could phone up and get something better. I used to do this repeatedly and they were always very helpful. Check to see if there is another connection that you prefer and call them with details and see what they will do.
