As mentioned the PVR-LAX/SJD seasonal routes that are similar to these in that "hey, why is AS doing P2P seasonal flying out of LAS?!?!?!" are back for W2025. I think it's a sucker bet that someone in AS network planning decided to look at some underserved city pairs that should have some traffic in winter in light of that and go "that seemed to work, let's try some more".

That being said it would not shock me to see some of these routes flop.

It's seasonal stuff where AS is probably pulling down some frequencies in the dead of winter that are half empty planes. I doubt they need to cut routes for this. I think we can expect AS to move more towards this if/when they integrate HA (there's going to be things that work TATL/TPAC seasonally and cases where they should just send a 787 from Seattle to Cancun for a couple months instead of flying a mostly empty Dreamliner TATL).
