According to this article from June this year, the existing JW Marriott Shanghai Changfeng Park will undergo a total interior and exterior renovation before reopening in the first half of 2026 as The Shanghai EDITION, Changfeng Park, marking the second EDITION in the city and the fourth in China [following the ones currently open in Sanya and along Nanjing Road in Shanghai, and next year's new opening in Dali].
