This is a horrid story; I am sad to hear it. As a regular flyer from BRU over the last few years, your boarding experience is not unusual. They often board before the plane has parked, leaving PAX in the sloping corridors for up to 30 mins in my experience. The added wait in the jet bridge is also not unusual, particularly if the crew changes. The other wrinkle is that the airport info boards are quite inaccurate.

But I read somewhere that there is a new lounge!
