On day 4 of a 5 night Diamond award stay at this property . We checked in on the last night of the Montreal Jazz Festival, so while we did not a superior room, we were granted HHonors high floor. Room came with robes and Slippers, small Fridge, no Microwave and Water in room and Pod Coffee and Tea Kettle.

Full Breakfast Buffet was included along with Lounge access. Buffet was 3 kinds of Eggs, Yogurt, Oatmeal, Roasted Veg, Breads Cheeses and meats. Lounge was Soft drinks and Expresso Machine 0630-2100 and Canned Beer and 3 Wines via bottle dispenser 1700-2100, and Cheese, Meats, Salad, Hummus and dessert 1700-2000. We had a Fire alarm pull at 0200 on Night 4, but it was quickly resolved.

Lobby is on 6. With 2 points of access. Main access is on Rue Jeanne-Mance, with 2 slow elevators. Better and faster is to use the 4 Elevators next to the lounge, these access the Building's Mall on 3 with walking access to the East and West entrances. The Mall has a fountain that has a sound and light show. There is a grocery store and a liquor store in the Mall along with many other shops. Chinatown is 2 Blocks NE of the property. The Taco stand there is excellent, as is the Noodle Factory.

Room Elevators are key access and you have to hold the card flat to the sensor a second longer than any other hotel I've stayed in.

A great banquet hotel in the heart of the City.
