I redeemed Alaska miles to fly QR through Doha. In order to get the connection I needed, I ended up booking 2 separate round trips SEA -DOH -SEA to get me to Doha, and DOH-ATH-DOH to get me from Doha to Athens. I have about 12 hrs in DOH which I’m figuring out whether to just hangout in the lounge, or onyx hotel.

my question is: since it’s 2 round trip tickets, will I run into any issues during boarding in Doha since I’ll have cleared security on my previous flight (where my boarding pass is presumably entered into a security system) which was a different reservation? I’m not checking bags, and I don’t plan to leave the airport. I know there’s a security check when I land in Doha, but I don’t recall them scanning my boarding pass.

bottom line: will I run into issues boarding in Doha if my inbound flight was a different reservation? Or do I need to plan to reclear the main security checkpoint?
