I'm surprised at myself for not writing about the Ortea Palace Hotel from my experiences last year traveling around Sicily.

We were upgraded to a nice suite during our two night stay and loved our stay there. They treat Marriott Elites exceptionally well but they will charge you at least 30-100 euros per night for an additional guest since their rates are based on the actual occupancy of said room. The breakfast spread was actually pretty good and we loved the complimentary bottles of Acqua Panna & San Pellegrino during our stay as well.
