If departure is delayed past 11:59 PM, technically the CoC requires they arrange it... but if the flight ends up going out at 12:25 AM like it did here, realistically (almost) no one's getting off that plane to get their hotel room and carry on in the morning, but by the letter of the rules, that would be their right if desired.
