Have a FNC expiring 6/7/2025 and wanted to use it for a stay 6/21/2025, so three weeks after its current expiration. Called Diamond Desk to get it extended. Agent said that Amex only allows them to extend the FNCs by 2 weeks and that was the maximum he was allowed to do (usual response, have another one that was expiring 3/1/2025 and had it extended two weeks as well). Agent asks if I'm talking about the FNC expiring "July 7, 2025." I say yes, assuming he just misread "6" as July. I ask him to extend it for 2 weeks.

He extends the FNC to July 21, 2025. That's a 1.5 month extension.

So, agents are ABLE to extend it by at least 1.5 months (and presumably longer), but just aren't allowed to based on whatever Amex has told them. I've never been happier to receive an incompetent agent.
