Some interesting combinations possible with this fare to get to NZ South Island. Currently tossing up between QF First and EK First via MEL. Being able to connect straight onto a ZQN flight would give QF the edge here.
Checked through to SYD should be no problem since it's a ticketing point and LH interlines with QF.
I would expect checking through to a separate QF ticket would be a no-go, and I'm doubtful LH would agree to short-check to SIN but that is more possible. I would ask on the LH board about their baggage policies.
