I guess I could. My wife found it a bit "rowdy" when she took it (pre-pandemic), not to mention that it is a somewhat long ride (3 hrs for what should take 2.25 hrs). But your post is making me rethink this a bit.

Actually, my in-laws will be taking the bus to and from O'Hare in a few months when they visit. I can get a better gauge of things then. We (and in particular I) offered to pick up/ drop off, but they don't mind slightly longer bus rides.
