I was travelling back from LAX due to be on that BA 1394, LHR-MAN they rebooked more for a departure 29 hours later! I decided to ask for a refund and hire a car to drive home to get home to make sure I was at my son's taekwondo grading on Sat morning.
The absolute nightmare I had trying to get my bag back at Heathrow was unreal, 3 and a half hours in queues and waiting for its return at t5. Got a £23 refund. Gather my only course of action is insurance claim?
