Have an award on AA metal,was under $10 in taxes. Is QR similar to BA Avios where the cancellation fee tops out at the taxes paid on the ticket if it's less than the actual cancel fee, or do they charge the entire amount? May be cancelling a ticket about 8-12 hours in advance, not sure if they'll charge the full $100 or if they just take the taxes paid for the ticket.
I'm also looking for an answer to this question, and I have searched for a while! Does anyone know? I'd be canceling more than 24 hours out, so I want to know whether I'd lose just the $10.10 or I'd have to pay $25.
