I'm confused by the seat selection charges (or lack thereof). I am ticketed on JFK-HEL-DEL in J, booked via AA miles. Both seat maps show three types of J seats: Front Row, Preferred, and Standard. But all three of them show "0.00 USD" as the price. So, I selected a Preferred seat. Now my Manage Booking page shows a "Pay" link next to my seat selection. On the other leg, I had chosen a Standard seat, which does not have a "Pay" link. To make matters worse, when I click "Pay," I am just taken to the Manage Booking look-up screen, where I have to type a PNR and my surname to access my booking - so there does not appear to even be a way to pay for the seat... which was showing as 0.00 USD for me anyway! What's going on here?
