Its not just at the gate... the 739s have weak gasper vents that basically don't do anything either.
Really nothing to enjoy about the 739 even in the 'standard' non ex-lion air config... sardine can feeling cabin, tiny lavs, small number of C+ seats, cramped F cabin etc etc etc.
