Stayed here for a week a couple of weeks ago. The hotel is fantastic in terms of hard product, but service was a little all over the place. We booked a 2 bedroom Oasis and received the same with a harbor view.
We arrived around 7 am however they was no one by the entrance. We had 5 luggage items and I had to go upstairs to ask for some help. After some wait, someone appeared. Note that we had a your24 approved to arrive at 7 am.
We booked the oasis which is described as a larger 2 bedroom compared to the other room type. If what I received was larger, then I don't really want to see how the other category room is. The room was Ok but not large at all. There was a dining table in the middle of the room that blocked the entrance to the 2nd bedroom. They could've just had 2 or 3 chairs and a smaller table rather than this large one, we moved it to the kitchen area. Basic amenities we asked for but they didn't have such as a shoe horn.
We had housekeeping issues as they didn't clean our room after seeing us leave and didnt come back for another 6 hours. I came back fuming but no issues since then.
The DND sign is confusing, if it's purple, it means it's on, if it's white, means it's off. What happened to the standard red and green?!
Breakfast was ok, service level was very good. but the view was a bridge. If you're sitting by the window and there is a traffic jam, you will very much enjoy the stare coming from those who are driving.
Location was great, we liked it very much. However, if I had to choose between this and the Sheraton, I would choose the Sheraton where service is just top notch.
